Vivacom has successfully finalized the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Telnet, one of the leading providers of fixed services in Northern Bulgaria. This step is part of the company's strategy to provide access to high quality and innovative products and superior customer experience to a growing number of Bulgarian consumers.

"We are delighted to welcome Telnet to our extended family. The team and I share a vision - to deliver innovative high quality services by putting the customer first. I believe that together we can conquer new heights and continue to consolidate Vivacom's strong position on the Bulgarian market," said Nikolay Andreev, CEO of Vivacom.

Telnet has a well-developed infrastructure and presence in over 110 locations in the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo and Ruse. The operator offers services for private and business customers, as well as developing individual solutions.

"We are honoured to join a company of Vivacom's stature. This step will enable our current customers to gain access to an extremely wide variety of innovative products and services and an excellent customer experience for the entire family or business. Once again, we would like to thank the entire Telnet team for their excellent work, without which this step would not have been possible," said Telnet management.

The deal, approved by the Competition Protection Commission after an unprecedented in-depth review, is another step in the company's growth strategy, fuelled by its focus on innovation and end-customer experience. Over the past three years, Vivacom has managed to establish itself as the market leader with the largest 5G network in the country. The telco continues to set trends in the sector with its innovative products - the EON interactive TV platform, 5G unlimited mobile plans, 10GIGA fibre network, Free2Go - the first prepaid 5G network access package in Bulgaria, and many more.
